Road signs are one of the most important guides on roads and highways. They inform us of the way, of the rules that are in effect on that part, whether some random kid will cross the path or are you lucky to have rocks fall on you?

And all of this is funded by the government or the Public Department that handles that stretch. But this doesn’t stop them from making some humorous and pointless road signs.

1) Thumbs Up for Hitchhiking

Many people love to travel all around the world. But they have a constraint. Money. Thus, they have to resort to hitchhiking to cover up their desired journey. Even dire situations sometimes make you stand at the corner of the road with your thumb pointing up.

And it’s good to help these people out. They may be good company and sometimes give a glimpse of their epic saga.

However, never take such a decision near a prison. Because it’s quite easy to find people near that place looking to have company.

Boards having 3D announcements are a fun lot. Just twist and turn them and you have some quite amazing wonders. However, this Inn owner is not so happy with that. Please just stop!

3) After Life

Live wires are used for heavy load transmission. Some wires used for trolley and metro working can have quite high voltages, which can even cause death.

But this doesn’t stop the Newcastle Authority to pinch out a few bucks from you. Money is life!

4) No means yes

You see this board and your inner instinct just tells you to thrash the life out of that board. Now that’s why No means yes. Oh you humans!

5) Hitler Power

Having the ultimate authority gives you the right to do anything. Since you make the rules, you also get to defy them, so that others don’t defy them. Right?

6) Rhyming Games

BRO have some punny yet fantastic road signs that get their message through. Sometimes, they just hand over to their infant squad with the task of deciding the words.
